Introducing "You are a Poem"

In "You are a Poem," Supriya takes us on an emotive journey, reminding us of the inherent beauty and strength within each of us. The poem is a call to embrace our vulnerabilities, to acknowledge our tiredness, and yet, to find the courage to step out, to feel, and to live fully. It's a tribute to the human spirit, resonating with anyone who has ever felt lost or alone.

We invite you to immerse yourself in Supriya's world. Listen to her voice as she navigates through each line, breathing life into her words. Let "You are a Poem" be a reminder that we are all works of art, constantly evolving, and endlessly expressive.

You are a poem

It’s okay to be sad

It’s okay to not know

Hear yourself,

Feel the touch of words at the tip of your tongue It’s okay

It’ll be fine

It’s okay, you can cry

Let the tears pierce through the silences you hold Let them turn into rhymes, let them flow You are a poem

You are meant to be heard

You are meant to be read

Look at your body

It’s yours, it needs you

Keep it with care

It’s okay if it’s tired

It’s okay to rest

You are a poem

Breathe, slow down, take a pause

Look at your hands, it’s okay if they tremble Reach out, call, remember you’re not alone Leave that bed which feels like a prison Wake up, rise and look at the sky above Touch the light, feel it

Go, dance

It’s okay if you feel like you don’t know how to Even if you feel like you just can’t

You are a poem

You carry music within you

Take a step, create your stage

Move like verses and perform who you’re becoming perform who you are

Go, meet people, meet the ones you love Tell them you’re with them

Tell them, It’s okay to feel what they feel right now Everyone needs a shoulder

A shoulder to cry on

You are a poem

A hug that can calm

Hold yourself, hold the ones around you It’s okay to feel low

It’s okay to simply be

It’s okay to not be doing anything at times

There is no harm

Go out, take a walk

Look at the flowers

Look at the trees

See how the weather is

It might feel gloomy

Might be cold outside

But let your body feel

Let your eyes see

You are a poem

You hold so much beauty

Why have you been quiet for so long? Why has your silence been prolonged? Step out, and let your voice rain

You don’t have to look or sound extraordinary You are a poem

The world is your place to be

You are a poem

And the world is your place to be

So just be
